Gill backs loan policy

21/05/2012 09:30, Report by Adam Marshall Chief executive David Gill has backed Manchester United to make good use of the loan system again next season. The Reds welcomed Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck back into the fold after successful spells away from the club and, last season, a number of players were farmed out to other teams including Robbie Brady, who spent the entire campaign with Hull City. Sir Alex Ferguson has already suggested many of the successful Reserves team will be loaned out to further their experience before the 2012/2013 term kicks off and it is a policy that should benefit the youngsters
