Liverpool will kick off the Champions League-style tournament for U19s against Sporting Lisbon tonight – and you can watch our stars of the future live and exclusive only on LFC TV and LFC TV Online from 6.30pm BST.

Rodolfo Borrell’s youngsters begin their first ever NextGen series campaign with a mouthwatering showdown versus one of the finest youth sides in Europe, and we’ll be showing every kick of the action simultaneously online and on the club’s dedicated TV channel.

The Portuguese outfit have nurtured the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Figo in the past and will no doubt prove to be tough opponents in what comprises an intriguing Group 2 line-up.

Our Countdown to Kick-off show begins at 6.30pm both online and on TV, with the game scheduled to get underway at Anfield at 7pm.

The Reds will also face German side Wolfsburg and Norwegian outfit, Molde as they bid to make progress into the latter stages of a 16-team tournament that will showcase some of the finest talent the continent has to offer.

Last season Borrell’s U18s side fired their way into the limelight with a string of scintillating performances and much of that team will feature in the NextGen Series as the Reds’ much-talked about Academy youngsters make their next step towards the first-team squad.

It promises to be an exciting adventure for the youngsters and you won’t miss a kick of our opening game if you stay tuned to LFC TV and LFC TV Online.
