Chart-topping singer-songwriter Emeli Sande has been confirmed as performing at Manchester United’s United for UNICEF gala dinner on Monday 12 December.
Hailed as one of the biggest events on the social calendar, the United for UNICEF fund-raising dinner is in its 12th year and organisers are delighted Emeli will perform on the evening.
The glamorous event is held at Old Trafford and attended by Sir Alex Ferguson and United’s first-team players. Last year, the annual event raised more than £100,000 for the charity, whose partnership with the club is the longest between a charity and a Premier League football team.
Having penned songs for the likes of Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk, Susan Boyle and Cheryl Cole, Emeli Sande is one of the UK’s most talented artists. Her new single, ‘Daddy’ was released on 27 November.
Money raised during the event will aid UNICEF in helping disadvantaged and vulnerable children from across the world. For more information on the event or to book a table call 0161 868 8000 or email special.events@manutd.co.uk .
