United’s Reserves continue their pre-season campaign with a trip to Morecambe on Monday night.

Warren Joyce again relies on the players who have served him well during the friendlies while Max Lonsdale continues his trial spell.

The Reds picked up their first draw with a 1-1 scoreline at Tranmere in their last outing and they will be looking to get back to winning ways at the Globe Arena.

Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone returns to the fold following his brief loan spell with Oldham.

The Shrimps kick off their League Two season at home against Barnet on Saturday and will be keen to use this friendly fixture as ideal preparation.

Squad: Tomasz Kuszczak, Sam Johnstone; Marnick Vermijl, Sean McGinty, Michael Keane, Ezekiel Fryers; Oliver Norwood, Larnell Cole, Max Lonsdale, Danny Drinkwater, Davide Petrucci, Jesse Lingard, Rafael Leao; John Cofie, William Keane.
