Hot on the heels of the “game of the season” at Anfield comes the biggest derby match for many a year, with Manchester City and Manchester United occupying the top two spots in the league ahead of Sunday’s showdown at Old Trafford.
Hence there was plenty to look forward to for ManUtd.com’s podcast panel, this week comprising website journalists Adam Bostock, Nick Coppack and Adam Marshall with MUTV presenter Mark Sullivan on hosting duties. For an expert view on the derby, we turn to ex-Reds defender Gary Pallister – courtesy of MUTV’s Live At The Red Cafe – and former United manager Wilf McGuinness.
There was also plenty to discuss after a busy return to action, firstly the 1-1 draw against Liverpool and then the midweek excursion to Romania. The journalists also give insight into their work for the club after interviewing McGuinness and current boss, Sir Alex Ferguson.
