Michael Ngoo came off the bench for England against Mexico as they secured another goalless draw in this year’s U20s World Cup.

The Liverpool Academy star came on for Saido Berahino in the 64th minute in Colombia.

Despite drawing all three of their group games, England will be confident of progressing as one of the best third-placed sides.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s Dani Pacecho appeared for Spain in their 2-0 win over Ecuador on Wednesday.

The Spaniard was replaced on 56 minutes by Valencia’s Sergio Canales, who went on to score Spain’s first goal of the game.

Despite being substituted, Pacecho had a lively first-half and nearly created a goal on the half-hour mark. After good work down the left, his cross was squandered by Rodrigo at the back post.
