Javier Hernandez has heaped praise on David De Gea after the goalkeeper’s fine showing in the 1-1 draw at Liverpool.
The Spaniard made some vital stops as the champions came under pressure towards the end Saturday’s stalemate at Anfield and is growing in stature with each passing game.
After scoring United’s equaliser with a typically predatory effort, Chicharito was happy to pay tribute to his pal and fellow Spanish speaker.
“He is an unbelievable player like the rest of the team, but he is improving each day and wants to work,” Hernandez told MUTV. ”He knows to be playing in the shirt of Manchester United is a big responsibility, but he is enjoying it and is doing very well.
“David is a very good goalkeeper and is improving day-by-day. He is still very young, 20 years old, and can play for 20 more years if he wants.”
