A father who lost his fifteen-year-old son suddenly in June has paid tribute to the respect shown by Liverpool fans during a minute’s applause ahead of our friendly with Hull City last weekend.

In a letter addressed to Liverpool Football Club, Richard Fell wrote:
At the Hull City friendly on the 23rd July, Hull paid tribute to our 15-year-old son Josh fell who passed away suddenly on June 9th by a minute’s applause before the match.
Myself, my wife and our daughter, and six of Josh’s friends came on to the pitch, and we would like to say a big thank-you to your supporters for their participation in the minute’s applause. It was very emotional to see all those fans doing that for our son.
Kind Regards Rich, Donna, Jasmine Fell.
