Three of Liverpool’s most promising Academy starlets paid a special visit to Liverpool’s Respect 4 All Disability Centre in Aigburth to lead a coaching session.

Michael Ngoo, Matty McGiveron and Michael Roberts were a credit to the Academy as they took part in the session, signed autographs and posed for pictures.

The club’s Respect 4 All Disability Centre started in September 2008 and has coaching sessions four nights a week.

It helps people who are visually impaired, physically disabled, wheelchair users or have severe learning difficulties - allowing them to play sports often for the first time.

“It’s all about fun, and it’s all about the players who participate and it really helps them develop their lifestyles as well as football,” said Respect 4 All Centre Manager Ryan Moignard.

“Every year we get a new intake of participants always involved, young and old, and every year the new influx brings us more enthusiasm you wouldn’t think was possible.

“It’s vitally important we have the support of players at the club because it’s not just football issues we’re dealing with, it’s social issues.”

Here are some pictures from the event
